ColdFX
OK, I’ve never tried ColdFX but I am feeling the effects of a cold this morning. I could actually feel it coming on yesterday morning forced myself into my work-day morning routine anyway. Does anybody take ColdFX? Does it work? I’m still a skeptic…
This does, however, give me a chance to update my blog, which has been terribly neglected of late. What’s happened since New Year’s you ask? Not a whole bunch, but only a month + has passed.
Me and the crew went to Toronto, which was great. I’ll post some pictures rather than writing too much about it. Suffice to say we had a great time at the NBA games (I spoke with the Swirsk!) and hanging around TO.
We went to the Hockey Hall of Fame, the CN Tower, Wayne Gretzky’s restaurant, and the CBC mini-museum (which is WAY cooler than it sounds – saw Mr. Dressup’s tickle trunk and the set of The Friendly Giant!) We also saw the NFL’s Chad Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald playing Madden in some conference center!
Nothing else too new I guess. February is flying along, and at the end of the month I’m moving out of the Official Languages/Employment Equity section of HR, and moving on upstairs to Classification for the next six months, which 0ught to be interesting. Can’t wait for spring/summer weather which hopefully will be coming soon. OK, on to more photos!
Me, Jeremy, Mehmet Okur, and though you can’t see him because of my fat head, Carlos Boozer sits enjoying a post-game radio interview.

Cold FX has Ginseng in it, which makes me “zing.” I have more energy when I’m sick and on Cold FX than when I’m healthy. It’s great for students/anyone with deadlines they can’t miss, or piano teachers with lessons they can’t cancel. I recommended it to my friend who also teaches piano, and she loved it… until she reached the end of the “course of treatment” when she crashed and fell asleep on her bathroom floor! Makes me have a little bit of doubt, but I’ve continued to use it and I think I’ve been able to prevent some colds with it. Good thing, because I live with a student who gets a big fat zero if he misses a deadline. (And he’s so stressed out that I think his immune system is compromised.)
Something Don Cherry endorses can’t be bad, can it? He speaks so loudly and with such force that everything he says must be true.
Have fun Classifying things, Lindsay.
