From right now, until the Year 2000!

Happy New Year!  It’s back to the grind for 2007, but not for long!  Jeff, Ian, Darcy, Geoff and my brother Jeremy are off to Toronto for some NBA action (Kings vs Raptors; Jazz vs Raptors) so I can’t wait for that!  My last (and only) live NBA game involved Stockton, Malone, and Hornacek from the Jazz and Abdur-Rahim, Bibby, and Big Country Reeves from the Grizz in Vancouver.  And Jeff Hornacek waved to me and Jeff! 

 

Anyway, I had a successful Christmas holiday in Alberta.  I managed to get to BC for some snowboarding, saw everyone (almost) I wanted to see, with some notable exceptions:

Mark Z – romancing in the mountains.

Nick and Bobby – romancing in Vietnam (not each other – I don’t think… together, but not together!)

Jason and Bonnie – romancing in Vancouver.

Jim Roy – we’re all waiting for another post on your blog Mr. Roy. 

Jason Bergen – he’s a tough man to find.

Sebastian F – I don’t know you’re number!  OK, that’s no excuse.  I think he was off touring in a Pantera cover band.

Matthew Li, Wayne Kung, Jason Z - I ran out of time.  Next time for sure!

Mike Yee – I call you!  I won’t be denied!

Ian Stults – but I did see brother Dave.  And other brother Ian Firlotte.

I invited everyone to the PO for L’heure de puissance and a good group showed up.  Even saw Matty and his entourage later on at the Black Dog.  Ian was the life of the party that night for sure.  The only downer was getting shot down by the redneck “DJ” who wouldn’t play a PO staple:  KISS – “Lick it Up”.  What a loser.  Oh yeah we also had a blast playing Nintendo Wii at Jeff’s and at Dean’s party.  Thanks to everyone else who made my vacation a smashing success!  It was great to be back in the West after being a Maritimer for the last 6 months.  And rest assured, I’ll be back in the summer (twice) for weddings.  Normally I’m not a wedding lover, but for my brothers I’ll make an exception.  Farewell!
